I dont need 3D Grafik i like it like it is. The magic of this game is that i can Run this game even on a single core computer.īut in when i was an intern at triumph studios, we programmed the AI of the enemies in a game to use an dedicated cpu core.īut that was a complete different game (overlord 2) But your must be sure that players have this specs. It will be possible to give specific tasks to cpu cores (if the engine supports it). If anyone has any better suggestions, please feel free to post here.Ī scalable engine is also possible, but is really hard to create (even studios as Electronic Arts don't succeed in it very well). In other words, it is not feasible to run game data processing and UI processing in parallel on multiple cores. Game data processing -> UI processing -> game data processing -> UI processing -> loop. The process flow has to be like the following, running in a single core: The CPU processes for drawing the UI and charts must be done when the game data are not changing. Most of the time while the player is in the game, the player is looking at charts or interacting with UI.
CAPITALISM LAB TORRENT MODS
more dlc, more and bigger mods wil slow the game down and a successor will be needed. So, Capitalism lab is great!īut in a few years, there have to come something to eliminate the old engine. So that's why i want i 3th game in a few years.Ĭapitalism lab is the best financial businesses game i know so far, i spend more hours in Capitalism lab than Cities Skylines, The guild 2 and many other games combined (i own 975 titles on steam). now you have to build half of the map with only retail stores if you sell every product. When capitalism 2 just came out, you had to build 2 sometimes 3 stores. i have to build to many stores (in combination with realworld), why a 3 floor "fruit store" with only 12 products (i have to build 4 of them to only sell i my vegetables, nuts and fruit) The engine is the problem, when i use 15 cities, and 30 AI players the game become's slow after 10 years. something like this will be enough.īut graphics are really not the issue with capitalism 2, just dont use this kind of graphics again when for the 3th game. but in time when capitalism 3 wil be developed.

I don't say that capitalism 2 needs an overhaul.
CAPITALISM LAB TORRENT DRIVER
Graphics as this:Ĭostumors walking in/out the frontdoor of a shop.Ĭars wth some more details driver trough the city. If the perceived value of the game with new graphics is only incremental, it is not going to be worth the cost and the resources are better to be allocated to developing new features. So the question is whether investing into new graphics for a potential Capitalism 3 will actually make a difference when it comes to the commercial success of the game. Personally I think that the quality of its 2D graphics is on par with other well received 2D strategy/sim games on the market like RimWorld and Factorio. Please commend suggestions (also if you disagree)ĭavid wrote:Here is a screenshot of Capitalism Lab with the closest zoom in level. Try to make a kickstarter for this product, so the financial risk will be covered)
CAPITALISM LAB TORRENT MOD
more products (i have realworld mod installed)

shops have to sell more product (sometimes i have the build 9 supermarkets to sell my own "food products" just once even with the 3 floors enabled) modern graphics (not Unreal 4 engine better, but just better than capitalism 2) the game have to have the basics of capitalism 2 and al the expensions

There is no hurry for Capitalism 3 but what i want to see in the game:
CAPITALISM LAB TORRENT SOFTWARE
Many of the old mechanics of capitalism 2 where pretty good when the game was just on the market, and with labs and the dlc it's still fun to play.īut the old engine limits the possibilities that Enlight Software can introduce into capitalism 2. I love capitalism 2 (with labs and the expansions) but the game is old, and not optimized for modern pc's. Yeah, Why the hell not capitalism 3 as an suggestion.
